Other durations

Frequently asked questions

14 jours = format optimal — couvre __triangle culturel complet__ (Anuradhapura + Polonnaruwa + Sigiriya + Dambulla + Kandy), Hill Country (train mythique + Ella), safari Yala, baleines Mirissa, Galle Fort UNESCO, et finition plage Bentota.
Quel budget ?+

Our verdict

This 14-day itinerary is Sri Lanka's optimal format — covers the entire southwest (Anuradhapura + Polonnaruwa + Sigiriya + Kandy), Hill Country (Nuwara Eliya + Ella) with the mythical train, Yala safari (2 sessions to maximise leopard rate), Mirissa (blue whales), UNESCO Galle Fort, and Bentota beach finish. Relaxed format with a night in a converted tea plantation for signature experience. Chauffeur-guide essential. Visit in December-March. Average budget: €2,200-3,000/person all-inclusive. For exhaustive stay, extend to 21 days with east coast (opposite season May-Sep) or Jaffna.
