Lagoon activities are organised from three main departure points.
Mamoudzou (Grande-Terre): departure of major boat outings (whales, S-pass diving, M'Bouzi). Several providers based at Mamoudzou port.
Mtsamboro (north): departure of Choizil islet outings, snorkelling, traditional pirogue.
Bandrélé (south): departure of whale outings in season, Bandrélé pass diving, snorkelling.
Dzaoudzi (Petite-Terre): departure of outings to M'Bouzi and the S-pass.
Book your outings several days to several weeks in advance in high season. Cancellations possible depending on weather. Bring ecological sunscreen (oxybenzone creams prohibited), hat, sunglasses, water, snacks, change for after bath.
