The north and Saint-Jean region is Saint Barth's lively seaside coast — that of Saint-Jean's iconic beach with the legendary Eden Rock and the spectacular airfield, preserved beaches (Colombier accessible on foot, Flamands), surfing at Anse des Cayes, and the legendary Le Ti St Barth at Pointe Milou. For a 4-7 day stay in Saint Barth, it's the area to devote 2-3 days to.
The visit organises itself naturally around three poles: Saint-Jean (seaside heart and airfield), the preserved beaches (Colombier, Flamands, Anse des Cayes), and the east of the island (Lorient, Pointe Milou, Toiny). Each deserves one to two days depending on style.
For a short stay (3 days), base yourself in Saint-Jean (Eden Rock) or Anse des Flamands (Cheval Blanc): day 1 Saint-Jean, day 2 Colombier, day 3 Anse des Cayes + Pointe Milou. For 4-5 days, add the Gustavia region (Gustavia, Gouverneur, Saline).
