In Búzios, must-dos: schooner cruise around the peninsula's 23 beaches (€40-60/person, 9am-5pm day, snorkelling, lunch on board or beach), iconic beaches (Ferradura for family swimming, Geribá for surf and social life, João Fernandes for turquoise waters and snorkelling, Brava for calm), Rua das Pedras (cobblestone pedestrian street, gourmet restaurants, designer boutiques, nightlife), Brigitte Bardot statue (Orla Bardot, tribute to the icon who propelled Búzios onto the world stage in 1964).
