Sainte-Anne offers an exceptional concentration of seaside activities. The itinerary is naturally structured around three axes: mythical beaches, structured nautical activities, and village discovery.
Beaches: imperatively start with Les Salines — arrive before 9am to enjoy tranquillity. Schedule Anse Trabaud on a half-day: departure from Pointe Baham parking, 25-min trail through dry forest. The Grande Anse and Petite Anse frame Les Salines and offer more peaceful coves. The Sainte-Anne village beach is perfect for families with young children.
Nautical activities: Diving: centres in Sainte-Anne village and Le Marin offering baptisms (€50-65), explorations on Cabrits islet sites. Catamaran or yacht outings to the François white seabeds (day with lunch and open bar: €90-130/person) — the signature nautical excursion of the Martinican stay. Kitesurf and windsurf at Pointe Faula. Live-aboard sailing at Le Marin.
Three Anses trail: spectacular 10 km loop coastal hike connecting Anse Trabaud to Pointe des Salines. 4-5h duration, easy level, exceptional panoramas.
Village and surroundings: stroll in the colourful lanes of the village, visit the Sainte-Anne church set directly on the beach, do the morning market (Saturday preferably). At Le Marin (5 km northeast), walk on the pontoons of the marina (the largest of the French Antilles).
