Sharm el-Sheikh offers a very wide price range thanks to intense competition between operators. A budget of €80 per person per day in a 4-star all-inclusive hotel is a good reference for a typical week, but you can easily drop to €50 or climb to €200.
Accommodation covers every band. A bed in a well-rated 3-star all-inclusive runs €40-65 per person per night in week-long package format from Europe (flight + hotel + transfers + full board). A 4-star all-inclusive like Pickalbatros, Sunrise, Steigenberger or Coral Sea sits between €70 and €110 per person per night. A luxury 5-star (Four Seasons Sharm, Royal Savoy, Rixos Premium, Baron Resort) costs between €150 and €350 per person per night. Diving live-aboards (specialised boat cruise) cost €800-1,800 per person for 7 nights, all-in (full board + dives).
Diving activities add up. Introductory dive (open water beginner) costs €60-90. A diving day (2 dives) by boat to Ras Mohammed or Tiran: €70-120 per person, gear and lunch included. PADI Open Water course: €350-500. Snorkeling gear rental at hotel: €5-15/day.
Excursions are a separate budget line. Mount Sinai and Saint Catherine: €50-90. Cairo in 1 day with flight: €250-400. Quad bike desert: €40-70. Bedouin dinner under tent: €30-50. Hotel spa massage: €50-120.
Off-hotel meals (rarely needed in all-inclusive) cost €15-30 per person at a Naama Bay restaurant, €8-15 at a local canteen. A beer costs €4-7 in a bar.
Transport is cheap: taxi between Sharm hotels €5-15, free shuttle offered by most resorts to Naama Bay, car rental from €30/day but rarely useful except for independent excursions.
