Copacabana (4 km, the iconic, mosaic calçadão, kiosks, futevôlei and volleyball, mixed crowd all classes), Ipanema (2.5 km, more chic, flags indicating different "tribes" by sections, sunset ritual at Arpoador), Leblon (1.5 km, chicest, carioca business beach), Botafogo (on the bay, Sugarloaf view, urban beach not swimmable but beautiful), Praia Vermelha (small red beach in Urca, Sugarloaf cable car departure).
