Transport: hire car essential (5 h from Reykjavik, Route 1 paved). No direct public shuttle. Organised 2-day tours from Reykjavik with lodging: €350-500/person.
Realistic total budget for a visit: €10-30 for free access (just a sandwich), €80-120 with zodiac, €200-300 with ice cave + meal and lodging.
